About the Cube Aim SLX Mountain Bike

Beauty is more than skin deep: the Aim's sleek looks are thanks to its Smooth Welded head tube and seat tube junctions. It incorporates a threaded bottom bracket and internal cable routing for long-lasting service and simple maintenance. There's even a flat disc mount that integrates seamlessly with our kickstand mount， and integrated mounting points for ACID mudguards and carrier. Updated geometry includes a lower top tube for more confident handling， and there's plenty of room to run wide， grippy and comfortable 2.25in tyres. Our SizeSplit system has an expanded range， too， so however tall you are there'll be an Aim that fits perfectly.

Key Features

• Smooth Welding isn't easy， but worthwhile things usually aren't. It has two advantages. First， and most obviously， it looks great: one tube seems to almost flow into the other. Second， and at least as importantly， it helps to minimise load peaks on welded areas for better frame strength and durability.


• Cables connect your handlebar controls to vital components like gears and brakes， but there's no need for them to get in your way. With Internal Cable Routing we've reduced clutter and maintenance by running cables through the frame， keeping them out of the way of dust and water contamination – or damage from abrasion – as well as cleaning up your bike's appearance.


• A kickstand can be useful， no two ways about it. But if it's going to do its job properly， it needs a secure mount. That's why we put as much effort into designing the Kickstand Mount for our frames as we do for any other feature. Neat， unobtrusive but exceptionally strong and stable， it's the best way to help keep your CUBE bike upright when you're not riding it.
